Bladder Cancer
  • What was your diagnosis?

Bladder Cancer 2008, just before Christmas

  • Did you use a mixture of medical and complimentary treatments?

I had immediate surgery but didn’t require any medical treatment (chemo, radio). I did however seek holistic support in the form of a kinesiologist / naturopath after further doing blood diagnostics.

  • What were the main components of your daily regime while receiving cancer treatment?

In all honesty, at that time, I changed little until recently as I have had ill health for the last 2 years and now have chronic fatigue.

Since having to leave work and focus on my health 100% I have done the following:

    • NET –Neuro Emotional Technique
    • Naturopath
    • Acupuncture
    • Osteopathy
    • Mediation
    • Yoga
    • Walking
    • Elimination diets
  • What were your top healing products at that time?

All of the above and I am conscious that I have a weakened system and am fully engaged so as to avoid further cancers and chronic illness.

  • What are the main components of your daily regime today?
    • Walking
    • Eating well
    • Sleeping well
    • Focus on family rather than work
    • Having fun
  • What are your top three healthy living tips?

Surround yourself with positive nourishment – friends, food and environment

  • What was the most valuable lesson you learned from cancer?

Life is short and valuable; take care of your body as you only have one.

  • How is your life different today?
    • Slower
    • Happier
    • More aware and engaged
  • Anything else you’d like to add or share, any tips which you would like to pass on to others?

Share wellness with all who want to listen and teach your kids to slow down where possible. Stress can kill.
